The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is set to be the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It is scheduled to take place in Basel, Switzerland, following the country’s victory at the 2024 contest with the song „The Code“ by Nemo.
Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster SRG SSR, the contest will be held at the St. Jakobshalle, and will consist of two semi-finals on 13th and 15th of May, and a final on 17th of May 2025. It will be the third edition of the contest to take place in Switzerland, which hosted it in 1956 (in Lugano) and 1989 (in Lausanne).
Thirty-eight countries were confirmed to participate in the contest, with Montenegro returning 3 years after its last participation in 2022.
